TinyPic.com is a good free service run by Photobucket. Videos are limited to 100MB and/or 5 minutes. You might also check out Vimeo.com. Their free account allows for 500MB of storage and unlimited video length. They both allow you to embed videos on your own site.

How is this possible? When Youtube videos are even uploaded on Metacafe then also you think they are illegal.

They even gives you embedded code which is only used for showing those videos on your website or blog..

I think the user is talking about movies of some other person.I dont think it is copyrighted movies as all as he is planning to embed code and all
(if you are planning to run the movie streaming site buying copyrights from movie, then you will have to buy more than 3-4 dedicated servers...)
This is thing is not the case here...

Youtube strictly dont allow uploading movies of others(it remains there until somebody complains...or youtube gets it)

plus most of the time youtube says under less than 10 minutes video,if you make parts a single movie will be more than 15 parts...which will be annoying for users to watch...
