Customer Testimonial Site
I recall seeing before a customer testimonial site.
Company A wants to display their testimonials. They direct their clients to a 3rd party site where they can put in their 2 cents about the company, good or bad.
Does any know the 3rd party site I'm referring to? We're looking to signup with a 3rd party such as that.
Something like a public feedback service.

There may be several available, but I think that you might be thinking about RatePoint.

It gives the testimonials more authority...
I actually quite like facebook for testimonials myself.... - Though I'm not sure how that would apply to a hosting company and if it would work as well...

The problem with "testimonials" is that whether on a third-party site or not, it's far too easy to create "happy customers." To me, testimonials aren't worth the pixels they occupy.

I think they the testimonials, whether theyre on your site or a 3rd parties are great. If someone types in "HostingCompany Reviews" typically those 3rd party sites will appear first, which is very good for your brand.

Yes, exactly something like RatePoint. I'm checking that out right now, thank you!
We prefer to pay for a 3rd party. It legitimizes our reviews. We've never posted up reviews on our website. Our reviews here on WHT have always been enough (and WHT reviews are fairly authentic as they do quite a bit of checking). However, I thought it would be nice to have a collection of the reviews, good or bad, somewhere.

RatePoint seems to focus on email marketing. Their pricing structure is incredibly expensive if you are using it only for reviews.

I think the best rating site would be WHT itself?

I do believe that video testimonials work well - styled like case studies. WHT reviews are good because they're verified.
