Want to sell host for my clients that run hyip programs

Hi, first of all i am not a techie type of guy so i really dont know how to start and what terms to use. Anyway we have been in business for 2 years making website templates, custom programming and other services on our clients. Most of our clients are running HYIP or high yield investment programs, Surf or traffic exchange, adult and GPT websites so we focused on them. Giving them the service they need. They all have the same problem and that is the good and reliable hosting for their needs. What type of hosting they actually need are

1) Good and fast support.
2) Less or no downtimes at all
3) Secured and fast server
4) Protected by DDOS protection (optional)

So what we have in mind is, we wanted to provide a hosting for them. I know HYIP / SURF and these type of programs are prohibited by many hosting so i wanted to ask if there is a reliable hosting company that let me use their server to run these programs without the worries of being suspended or terminated.

In terms of DDOS i dont know if there is really such thing as daily protection or inexpensive DDOS protection so this is just optional.

I was really thinking of lime-technology.com or Liquidweb but im afraid of being terminated when they found out that my clients are running these programs.

What sort of budget do you have? Any other specific requirements? It sounds to me like you will need a managed dedicated server

Thats plenty to get a decent server with cPanel or another web hosting control panel. Do you need a managed server or are you comfortable with Linux?

In terms of the sensitive nature of the content, I would check the host's Acceptable Use Policy (and Terms of Service) and ask them before purchasing.

Contact them and ask about that. I believe that is not forbidden at all

Hi guys, yes i have already contacted them and asked i have also searched their TOS but found no answer. I asked via live chat and they said they does not have any idea about the nature of the program so i was not sure cause if thats the answer then there is a possibility that termination might happened, just in case. Anyone here had an experience about HYIP that can explain further.

I've never heard of a HYIP that didn't eventually collapse under it's own weight and turn to fraud (it is after all pretty much a Ponzi scheme). My first (and only personal) experience was working for a guy running one, before I'd learned what they were. I was hired to work on the design and function of the site, and in the end got stiffed for about $700 in outstanding invoices. He paid at first, so I hadn't suspected anything was amiss. Turns out he scammed most of his investors and other support folks as well.

They attract DDoS, and tend to vanish suddenly, leaving unpaid bills and disgruntled 'investors' that will contact you, if they know of you. They attract providers and support people with promises of good money and bright futures, but in the end all tend to get shafted.
But I'm sure you know what you're doing.

@bear yes no doubt thats what a HYIP is, there is no such thing as legit HYIP but still most of them were our clients, we never accept downpayments or upfront payment with and they always pay in full. We are never part of their scheme this is just part of the business. Even if they run such programs as long as they are our clients we have to take good care of them and response accordingly. And we think of providing them hosting so that they could stay away from scam hosting or problematic hosting. That is why i am asking if there is anything you all can suggest about renting a dedicated server that could accept these types of program.

Lacehost.com accepts HYIP and Adult websites, i just dont know where they rent their dedicated servers. But i needed reliable with less downtimes than the server of lacehost.com

So what you're saying is you have no problem hosting scamming customers, as long as they keep paying you?

It's your call, obviously, but how can they be legit if there's no such thing as a legit HYIP? It's like hosting a spammer, and calling them ok because they haven't personally spammed you.
Interesting.

Is it really our job to determine if they are legit?

Hosting checklist
1. Did they pay
2. Is it legal
3. Does it violate AUP
Done

Socialism is not here yet.. or is it?

1) Who cares
2) Yes, it's illegal. A HYIP Program is a Ponzi Scheme, thus it's Illegal in the US.
3) See Step 2

Well most TOS have something about using the services for things contrary to law.

I mean hosting a few movies that I own on my website isn't illegal right? And I guess that me sending to that mailing list over and over isn't illegal. Or helping domains that do so by being their nameservers isn't so its ok right?

The OP pretty much admits his clients are shady if thats the type of client you want too thats your call.
