It's energy, but it's not free energy. You still have to have the mechanism that transforms the salt water into energy. Like a solar panel for example, they create energy but you need to buy the solar panel to get the energy, so that energy is not really free. So there's no such thing as free energy, but I do like what that chap has come up with.

The only free energy you are going to get is from the sun or using your parents
