Opinions on Layeronline?

I'm currently trying Layeronline and would like to know if anyone had experience with them. They seem pretty new on the market? Any opinion on reliability, security issues, support etc. will be appreciated.

I'm specifically looking for clustered LAMP hosting for Wordpress capable of handling moderate Digg effect (a maximum at my site was 10000 visits/day). At the same time sustained traffic is around 1000 uniques/day so purchasing a dedicated server does not seem motivated. And I appreciate the simplicity of CPanel hosting and Fantastico.

/Martin

I haven't heard about them before. Have you tried searching about them on WHT? Click here to run a search

I found a review for you here. Good luck with your research!

Thank you, HD-sam. No, I haven't heard of them previously either, but they have been posting sales offers here and their architecture seems right for my needs.

Anyone else?

Your search link does not work, try and use the front page link to the search function

Their WHOIS is privacy protected which is not a good business practise, however, they have been around since August 2008.

Though I wonder if the company actually posted this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1164918

Never heard of them. I suppose doing quick search for their domain name should help you to get more information about them

Yes, their whois is protected.
From search on the web, they seem to be located in Canada, using ThePlanet in the US as data facility provider.
Wei Lu is referred to as President of Layeronline. The address is

PO BOX 96588
Vaughan ON L6A1W5 Canada

Not sure when they were established and how many clients etc. webhostingstuff.com has one review of them, by Mike (sportscarsreport.com) dated 16 September 2008. However, the site sportscarsreport.com is either defunct or never existed.

Not sure if all this means anything, though. Any help?

@ OP

Read reviews about them, chat with them if they have a live chat and don't forget to search for reviews on WHT.

I'm not sure where you read about a clustered architecture but after reviewing their site I don't see anything about it mentioned.
