    Use CloudLinux for shared hosting?

So I was on LiteSpeed's website due to an available update and the newest update supports CloudLinux. Went to their website and they said that it's good for shared hosting and that you can limit computer speeds, process, etc. Anyone experienced or used CloudLinux as their OS? Does it play nicely with cPanel and LiteSpeed? I haven't seen much reviews about CloudLinux and it only cost $14.

    CloudLinux works with cPanel:
    http://www.cloudlinux.com/docs/cpanel_lve.php
(Just keep in mind that you need to change /etc/redhat-release)

And it works with LiteSpeed (make sure you have the latest version of LiteSpeed)
There is no reported issues up to date with cPanel, nor with latest version of LiteSpeed.

Both technologies are fully supported from CloudLinux side.
    LiteSpeed also officially supports CloudLinux
cPanel doesn't officially support CloudLinux, but from what I have seen so far -- they will not stop your support if you use CloudLinux (as it is pretty much transparent, and acts just like CentOS).

What is so "cloud" about CloudLinux? In other words, what is the "cloud" aspect in CloudLinux?

CloudLinux is a building block for Cloud services, as it allows/simplifies application level virtualization. In shared hosting it means you can have single apache, yet each website is "virtualized" on resource level -- which in turn provides better stability & resource management.

Otherwise -- it is not what people think about when they say "cloud". It is not about load balancing, high availability or spanning multiple servers. Nor it is about virtualizing hardware, or moving accounts from server to server.
