hi everyone,
i've been looking into being a hosting reseller,and with so many deals and offers going on i don't no who to choose.
maybe someone on here can help me,i came across one good deal from mypchost.com that are offering very cheap master reseller packages.
has anybody heard of this site,if so what is their service like and support?.

like i said,i've looked at many and came across mypchost.com as an example.
my budget would be £20 per month.

Well 20 pounds are fine for a a Reseller account which offers reasonable amount of resources. I would suggest you not to just wait for recommendations but to browse the forums (including "Find a Host" and "Offers" sections) and to compare the UK providers you'd find there.

Stay away from eBay offers. I've bought a couple there and AM still looking.

Like others have stated, grossly oversold is no good. A package that includes non-cheesy client billing/auto account set up is important. Watch for extra charges and little space/bandwidth. The other thing that's crucial is whether the provider will be in business 1 month or 1 year from now. Nothing like putting all your clients on a server and then ONE day, out of the blue, they're gone and you have no full account backups!

Some plans seem great until your site gets a lot of traffic or uses resources, then you're either canned or asked to upgrade to a dedicated server so the types of sites you and your clients run can affect you and your provider. Clueless customer service is also another factor. Make sure that the provider also has all the libraries you and your customers need. For example, many have the GD library. In my case I needed the freetype font switched to "Enabled" and one provider was clueless about what that meant and it took them a week to figure it out and switch it to "on" That type of crap can render all your image captcha to display broken images so your clients get all upset. The server has to be fast and have plenty of memory to handle power users or traffic intensive sites. "Cheap" is not necessarily the best deal. I'd rather pay more to have 99.9% reliability, fast servers, COMPETENT customer service and providers that will be around for years.

I am curious, how do you get to know about mypchost?

Say no to master resellers, alpha master resellers, super alpha big man resellers, and whatever else they're calling them.

If you want to offer reseller hosting, get a VPS.

That said,
I have never heard of mypchost. But, what I see is...
- Domain was registered in 2007, but they claim to be in business since 2005
- Layout is an unattractive, poorly organized template
- Website has a copyright ending two years ago
- Whois information is private
- No telephone number
- No billing system
- The domain has been put up for sale on eBay

So yeah... I'd pass.

may also want to make sure the provider offers frequent backups (daily, weekly, etc) Also it is good idea to ensure that the backups are also stored offsite for disaster recovery reasons.

How much diskspace and bandwidth do you need to start with?
