Extremely tired? I just take a long nap.

I have trouble sleeping at night, I typically lay there for hours on end but I can't shut my mind off. As a result, I get pretty poor sleep at night for about 5-6 hours.

So every few days I feel like I have absolutely no energy, and just pass out in the middle of the day for a few hours. I sleep like a baby, so much better than I ever do at night. Wake up with drool coming out of my mouth, thats a sign of good sleep!

Of course, there are 'ancient herbal remedies' to my bad sleep, that help me relax and wake up refreshed due to a good solid sleep.

So, go stretch out on the couch and turn your cellphone off for a few hours. =]

I would like to know the answer to this, too.

Seriously, though, a work-free vacation can do the trick. Be sure to stay out of communication range during the vacation, though, for the ultimate in refreshment.

Some kind of workout (at least 4 times a week) goes a long way for me.

Running (outside... treadmill doesn't do it for me) is something I've been doing for a long time and I find it very relaxing and refreshing. No less than a mile, no more than 5 .

Other workouts (swimming, kickboxing, weightlifting, pretty much anything) gets me going as well.

A good long nap does the trick for anyone.

I have the same answer and that is what I always do, a long nap.
Then a background music, it feels good.

Ah, sleeping is included? Cat naps leave me refreshed and energized but once I take a nap my sleep schedule is kaput.

If you're looking for a long term solution I'd still suggest with the workout suggestion.

5-6 hours? I need more than that, and meditation also works fine.
