Open source Backup software for Windows

Hello,

Does anyone know of any open source software that will allow me to do a "incremental" remote backup. I've looked at some backup providers and they cost too much money (I have about 400GB and counting of files to store). So I figured if I can install some open source program on the server and do an offsite backup on my own.

Thanks

Have you considered a Windows port of rsync, like DeltaCopy?

Also, do you have a server to backup TO? You're going to have to pay for the storage space and possibly bandwidth. If you go with Amazon S3 that 400 GB is going to cost you about $60/month.

Also, "Open Source" does not mean free.

Depending on what you're backing up, check out cobian.

Amanda is the free community version offered by Zmanda, in addition to the paid enterprise version.

You might also consider Bacula (though there is only a Windows client, not a version for the target backup server) or BackupPC.

Thanks guys, yes I do have a server to backup to. I was just wondering if there was anything out there as an open source so I can do incremental/deferential backups through FTP. Thanks for all your suggestions, I really appreciate it.

Some months ago I was also on doubt of what backup solution to choose as you can see on this thread
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=755751
however I have also found a new option
http://www.zmanda.com/zcb-pricing.html

I wish zmanda.com could also provide a Linux solution for CPanel servers/VPSs.
