Anyone used a full-gig HE port in/near Ashburn or Washington DC? Horror stories? Romance novels?
Looking to supplement our mix, and possibly replace Cogent.

Works fine, though we filter it down to to about 85k routes.

Do you have the full gig ports? If so, how is the throughput? My only real concern is if they are oversubscribed and we can't get full capacity without packet loss or similar.

We HAD multiple bonded GigE ports with HE in Ashburn. . . Never had any issues with packet loss over the years, and the network was solid.

we've seen the circuit hit mid 800 before without any issues, now though we do 200-300 on that circuit.
Not sure how many 10G ports they have in their gear but they use foundry. each "slot" can do 50Gbps and the gigE slots only have 20 ports per slot so they are no where near oversubscribed on a blade basis. each slot has 4x10G xfps as well so those are not oversubscribed.
