Starting GSP help needed Control panel/website

Hi we are starting GSP (Game servers provider) we already have hosting and servers ready to be used so we dont need that but we have never been in the GSP biz before so we need some help to get this started, and we are willing to pay you for your services.
This is what we need help with: (more or less a complete solution) Feel free to give me suggestions on turnkey scripts, clone scripts or if u want to sell your already working GSP website/cp...

*Good Control panel supporting all popular games today, only interesting is FreeBSD or Linux panels, it need to have billing and support i know about gamecp but i dont really like it and it is missing some things we want like affiliate/resellers. This does not mean we looking for a costum made panel there is a few out there but like affiliate are not incuded in any i found so if u know any please contact me or if u know some panel that can be modded to provide us with this.

*Website
When we a control panel to control the games we probly need this integrated into a website, this does not have to be nice design or advanced just the control panels features. If u can make a nice design thats good but its not a need we have.

*partner/person not needed but would be good to have one with experience with game servers providing for asking questions consulating etc or if u like to be a part of this you are welcome to join us if u got the right "skillz"

At first we want suggestions on control panels but if thats what we need we looking to hire someone that can code or moddify a exisitng CP and give us a complete solution.

As payment if you code/modify something and dont want cash as payment we can offer you free colocation for 12months, in our smal "datacenter" in North Sweden with a 100mbit etherner connection thats not shared with others i am just running my own web server on it right now.
But we can pay you in cash to thats no problem i will not give colo to ppl that just give me a url to a good control panel this is for coders only.

(Sorry if i maybe posted this at the wrong section of this forum but i am new to post here maybe this is a freelancer job i dont really know so please if its wrong section please move it)

If your entering the gameserver market, be prepared for ignorant customers, constant complaints about things that are not actually broken, and low monthly income per machine.

You must adopt the Wal-Mart sales style at this point, make up the profit in volume versus price.

I can only agree with what Crothers wrote.
I did start a GSP from scratch a few years ago. It took all of my spare time for a year or two before I even had a decent customer stock and started making some money out of it.
The main problem is that you see new "GSPs" popping out all of the time, constantly competing with lower prices - driving prices down for the entire game server market. Most of these GSPs are teenagers, doing this for side income/thrill - and not having a company number nor paying taxes.
I am not trying to scare you off - just want to make you think twice before jumping onto this new project. If you do, be prepared for this:
* A long startup time - where you will loose money initially.
* The most rude and impatient customers you can think off - who will complain and whine about your services, when it's actually their crappy ISPs fault.
* A higher (?) amount of chargebacks
* Support 24/7 - gamers play all the time and if you are not around when they need help - word of mouth will make you loose business.

Other then that - it's a lovely challenge. I did enjoy it for several years, before I sold my business. All the memories - getting your first few customers, establishing a second hosting location, constantly improving services...

Good luck!! ;-)

I agree with everything T1n3ll said here.
The main thing you need to remember is that a majority of gamers are cheap and can't afford decent internet connections. Also gamers tend to download a lot of weird garbage while playing on their servers, such as torrenting obscene materials. This horrendous combination leads to "server lag" which is obviously the GSP's fault. You need to find a way to find customers who are not only patient, but also willing to work with you. The teenager/tween customers want to pay nothing, want 24/7 support, and no lag regardless of their internet connection. If you think you can provide that, then you can be successful. This is just a rant, but you need to be prepared for such people. Also a good rule of thumb is to reject any sponsorship request that comes your way. VERY FEW ORGANIZATIONS are worth sponsoring, and the ones that are worth sponsoring are already sponsored.

Hi, as I replied to your other post, we will take care of you Alone without decent panel, you will just get frustrated and loose a lot of money.

I have been doing GSP business in a row for over 6 years by now with very decent custom made GSP panel and I have stable income... When you read my email you will see.
