i have database error in websites

and i cant login to cpanel or whm

what can i do with ssh?

i dont know linux command

What db error do you get exactly? Your ip might be blocked in firewall or cPanel service might be down, that's why you are not able to connect whm.

What database error do you receive on accessing the website? And if you are unable to access cPanel/WHM, how are you able to access SSH? BTW, if the IP is blocked on the server, you won't get a prompt while accessing the cPanel/WHM.

Better contact your hosting provider to check your server.

Did you try to restart mysql from the command line and see if that can fix your problem?

Mysql is probably not working in your server. Try restarting the service as suggested by webangel_le.

Also Always paste the error that you are getting so that we can help you in a better way.

Haven't read anywhere that you were able to access SSH, so can you access SSH? asking what you can do on SSH without being able to access it is pretty useless.

If you can, reboot the entire vps and see if everything comes back to normal. While doing that, you should also contact your provider to make sure it's not a node issue because if the entire node is having issues with some load or lag, then there isn't too much you can do unless your VPS is what's causing the lag.

I'd guess if you can'tlogin with whm/cpanel you won't be able to connect via ssh either. I'd check firewall as suggested and defintely contact your hosting provider for assistance. It sounds as if the site could have been compromised too.

If you are able to view the website, then there should not be any block on your IP. Please paste the error that you are getting on the websites. Can you also update on whats happening exactly when you are trying to log onto cPanel or WHM ?
