Need a powerfull VPS for torrents
I could get a server, but the advantage for VPS is that you can reinstall the OS in minutes + it's cheaper.
Yes, I need a VPS for torrents, located in Europe (England/ France excluded).
Thank you all in advance.
P.S: DMCA applies only for US.

FYI, the DMCA is a US piece of legislation, but many other countries have enacted their own version of it. If it is pirated torrents, it can still be illegal elsewhere; so in a way it can still apply to you. Also, most VPS providers wont allow torrents so they dont have to worry about getting in trouble from piracy.

You won't find an EU provider that will allow illegal content.

It's not illegal content, you guys should read the press.
The files are not hosted on the VPS, they're just indexed (like google).

The idea behind it, is that it "promotes" piracy. Case in point: ThePirateBay

IFPI sued the founders, not the hosting providers.
It's still running BTW.

Ok fine, let me re word this.
It's a bunch of f****** trouble? Hosting providers don't want (or need) that kind of heat.

To be brutally honest, you could easily get away with it at many larger providers where this sort of thing goes unnoticed until reported. However once it's reported, don't expect your VPS to be online and don't expect a copy of the files once they terminate it.
No hosting company want's to "promote" piracy due to the risks. Your best bet is to look for a provider outside of the EU and US where copyright laws are ignored more freely.

Google off shore web hosting, Im sure something will come up. Or you could check out the WHT VPS Offers, Look carefully and make sure it says there offshore.

DMCA applies only in the US, but Europe has its own versions of (albeit more sane by a government that isn't owned by media corporations) copyright laws.
What you're trying to do has been proven to be unwelcome by most hosts.
As others have pointed out, the trouble, bad press and possible effects on other customers is simply not worth the hassle (unless you're paying big money).
That said, I think **AA are really, really retarded and personally am not opposed to piracy.
There are some hosts that specialize in this sort of business, you can contact Ecatel to see if they are interested in offering VPSes.

When looking for offshore providers, make sure they allow this too, because many don't. I find digital point forums are always full of offshore warez/torrent host offers. No idea how reliable they might be though.
