moving my server..
Hi,
I am moving my server.I have around 10gb of data.
Please give some suggestions to decrease the downtime.

is this cpanel server? or windows based?

You can follow these steps to decrease downtime:
1) Move all the data to the new server, keeping the DNS pointed to the Old server.
2) Make the required DNS changes and point the domains to the new server
3) Once the DNS propagation has been completed and all sites are pointing to the new server, start the rsync process syncing the new data in the Old server with the data in the new server.
