    Director Sales - Data Center Services

    Director of sales for data center services oversees all pre-sales/sales activities on a division wide basis. A focus is placed on identifying opportunities, shaping business offerings and communicating the product offers in a constant, unified manor related to the area of hosting and or hosted managed services. Director of sales focuses on providing/paring DKB solutions with market segments down to key target clientele. Key responsibilities include directing and evaluating sales and communications, staffing and skills demanding of timely, quality driven project completion, facilitating clear communication between internal teams and clients, assisting in estimating new business opportunities, and collaborating with company owners. Will be responsible for managing multiple sales endeavors, reporting on their effectivity and summarizing weekly, monthly and quarterly prospects and opportunities.

    Job Description
    Director Sales - Data Center Services
    Reports to: VP/Project Based
    Department: Technical Services
    This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.


    Skills / Qualifications:
    •4+ years sales management experience with at least two years in the Internet, technology
    or multimedia environment
    •Ability to manage multiple processes, complex and profitable opportunities
    •Excellent client management, account planning, and client-interaction skills
    •Specific technical expertise in Internet technology and systems integration including famili-
    arity with technologies such as n-tier architecture, customer service, voip, branding and
    fulfillment
    •General business acumen, business strategy expertise, and ability to exhibit leadership
    and team building capabilities
    •Strong communication and presentation skills
    •Adaptability, agility, and excellent time management
    •Experience engaging and instating multidisciplinary development projects
    •Educational Requirements: B.S/BA./MBA in related field preferred

    Responsibilities Include:
    •Generate 20+ qualified leads per month.
    •Ability to create a strategic plan based on reviewing a territory plan and market data.*
    •Provide feedback on lead generation productivity.***
    •Able to work to a monthly target.
    •Must be able to have initial conversations with “C” level Executives with the ability to se-
    cure a meaningful meeting with a technical engineer.
    •The right candidate will be able to articulate a methodology s/he has developed with quan-
    tifiable and proven results.
    •All aspects of pre-sales, quotation, contract development and delivery into development
    center workflow
    •Clearly represent DKB’s consensus in all client communications.
    •Develop and manage all sales schedules, prospecting and reporting.
    •Develop ongoing relationships and sales solutions with clientele
    •Coordinate across departments to ensure successful delivery of the upcoming projects -
    both sold and in-process.
    •Shape client expectations into production ready statement of work.
    •Review drafts of deliverables with team.
    •Participate in deliverable reviews.
    •Ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
    •Mentor/advise sales staff.
    •Oversee communications and campaigns
    •Provide insight into business expansion, technical staffing and training
    •Provide reviews on a per-project basis of staff participation, responsiveness and quality
    •And such other duties and areas of work related to the above itemized responsibilities
