eh, I'm confused as far as i know a GamePanels can only be customized for a certain emulator.
If you mean VPS Panels then theirs alot of VPS Panels out there.
However not alot of the VPS panels let you install them on VPS's but only the main node.
Try Webmin

Depends on what OS you are running. TCAdmin is popular on Windows and SwiftPanel for Linux.

I've used TCAdmin in the past and found it to be pretty good. So that would be my recommendation.

If your intent is to only run gameservers and are running it for yourself (not selling them) just save the vps money and go with a GSP. If you want to be a GSP yourself you need more horsepower, run windows and TCadmin.
Free panels that work? Honestly I don't know of any reliable ones.

Swift Panel is not even in development anymore. Your only wise option would be TCAdmin.

Derek, are there no (good) control panels for GSPs around for Linux? When I was involved with this area back in '07 we looked around quite a lot and found nothing that matched the requirements we had except for TCAdmin on windows?

Toby,
Take a look at: http://gameframe.net/?page=linux-gam...-control-panel
I remember testing it once a while back and it worked quite well. The developer is always doing updates for it as well.

I guess it depends on what you define "good" with that being said I would not operate a game server business with any linux control panel that is on the market right now.

I have to go with Derek and say TCadmin is one of the most viable options. Proven behind years of hard labor.
If I was to recommend the "best" free linux one I would go with gamepanelX it is open source, and developed well not a lot but decently.

TCAdmin pretty much covers everything you'd ever need to do as a GSP. There's a few games that are troublesome to install but that's because dedicated support for those games is poor - not because of TCAdmin.

The community patch improves all of that and more, and quite a bit too . Just have a look at the changelog and youll find your answer.

Last update from its owner was a few months ago, though, I am sure someone is still working on it. Their forum is still pretty active.
But regarding the topic, if you can not manage to create a game-server on your vps, then I don't see how can you manage to install a game panel.
