As title says, anyone with them and have a server for past 2 hours? or is it just me?

sorry that should read..

Anyone with them, and have a server that's been down for the past (now) 3 hours.

What is unacceptable downtime, only had the server 5 days.

I am a customer of theirs. I got this email from them on the 10th of March.

"Dear customer,
By this letter we would like to inform you about some changes that will be carried through from Friday 12 March to Saturday 13 March. Our network and infrastructure subcontractor has chosen for a private suite in the datacenter at Alphen a/d Rijn. Given that we would like to use this network and further infrastructure, which causes us to move our servers to this suite.
This move will only have its benefits. Since Netrouting can use their own suite, they won't have to share it with the other parties in the datacenter. Customers of Netrouting will have exclusive access to this suite. Besides that, the whole suite will be assembled with new Axis camera's, which makes it possible to monitor the whole suite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Another benefit of this private suite is that the refrigeration in the suite is much better than before. The server racks will be covered with isolation plates and Netrouting will use two air conditioners to assure a fine server temperature. At last we are able to obtain 32 ampere power instead of the usual 16 ampere power at the datacenter of Alphen a/d Rijn.
Besides that, WeServIT will change the current core switches to two new HP2848 switches from the company HP Procurve during the move. These switches will have 48 Gigabit ports and will be equipped with redundant connections to the internet. In case there will be an interruption at one of the routers, the network traffic will connect though the secondary uplink to another router. When both routers are online, the traffic will be automatically balanced over these routers.

WeServIT will also upgrade the VPS platform with new updates of Citrix XenServer and some VPS servers will be equipped with extra RAM. Because we are able to deliver a redundant connection, our VPS servers will be equipped with two gigabyte connections to two different switches. Within Citrix XenServer we will configure an automatic system that switches to the secondary uplink when the first uplink is offline. When both routers are online, the traffic will be automatically balanced over the two routers.

In short, many changes will occur in a short time. The planning is as following: At 0:00 the first VPS server should be offline, and will be moved to the new suite. When this is finished, we will first do the upgrades as written above. Between 01.00 and 01.30 the first VPS server which will be moved to the new suite should be online again and the second VPS server should be offline. We expect the second VPS server to be back online between 02.30 and 03.00, with the upgrades we wrote about. After that we will take a short brake of 15 minutes, and we will move all the dedicated and colocated servers to the new suite. This will take a few hours, because we have to transfer and install all the rails and cables in the new suite. The dedicated and colocated servers will be offline from approximately 04.00, and the last servers will be online before 06.00.

Our advice is that our costumers e-mail their root-password, so we can shut the server down on a proper way and restart the server after we are finished. We will check every server to work properly after we finished the move.

Due the complete change of the infrastructure (including the power infrastructure), all customers will receive an e-mail with the new cacti and APC (remote boot) information.

Update: I just spoke to a member of staff at Netrouting (Where WeservIT are housing their servers). He said that they are moving their servers themselves to the new suite as we speak and everything seems to be going okay.

I had that email also, but my server went down 7 hours before the scheduled time, I submitted a ticket 13 hours ago, no reply, although my server is backup, it was down 9+hours

very much doubt it, I should have known from the start it wasn't going to be good after what I ordered wasn't fully completed, still waiting on my apc port, server was slow to respond when delivered, cpanel/whm kept timing out, they said it was because they were working on setting up csf, I asked for a refund and was told no, saying there was nothing wrong with the server, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them 24 hours to redeliver the server, everything went well until the downtime.

Still no response to my support ticket

Oh, i've had the VPS with them for a few months. It's been okay generally, just this time.

I just recieved the message "We have some problems on VPS-srv03 we are busy to fix this.". It's damn annoying. I have 20-30 people contacting me, demanding info, and that is the little information I'm left with.

they have just replied to my ticket stating they sent an email on the 10th above the migration, which was fine, but wen it says

Downtimes are always annoying, we also had a huge move several months ago which caused some serious delays on some systems. Luckily it didn't cause too much damage to us.
I fully understand how weservit is feeling now

don't get me wrong, if its scheduled it's fine, but the site went down some 7 hours before the move was due, took some 13/14 hours to respond to my ticket, with nothing only that we send an email 2 days ago about move, not we apologise for your extended downtime etc etc, it's pathetic..
