Paypal as payment Method

Hi,

I was wondering how you people feel about offering our customers the ability to pay us through Paypal?

Currently we accept credit cards, and I dont know if customesr are extremely comfortable to give us that information.

I don't think it would have the look of professionalism required to run a webhosting business... Just my $.02 worth...

You can always use both, and if they aren't comfortable using a credit card they can send with paypal. Most webhosting places do accept paypal now adays.

I just added PayPal as a payment method in addition to regular credit cards. I hope some of the bad things we've heard about PayPal won't be re-ocurring now that ebay is in charge.

We've always offered Paypal, credit card and mailed payment options. We probably get about 5% of our customers paying with Paypal. Overall, I'd say its worth it to offer as many payment methods as reasonably possible.

Paypal is safer cos you can add to it the exact amount that you are transfering.

Well at the moment paypal is all we are using. We are only 6 months old and with all the problems I see with paysystems and 2checkout I don't want to go with them at the moment.

Everything is running fine at the moment with paypal and I like it that way...
