Someone to Install Team Speak 3! help!

Hi all,

Trying to install Team Speak 3 Server but when install the 64bit version on our server it doesnt seem to install properly and was wondering what am i doing wrong?

1. Download 64bit version ( On our 64 Bit 2008 SBS Server )
2. Extract it
3. Double click on Team Speak server icon

Then a MSDOS screen comes up with information on it as login details.

No install wizard etc.

Ive put the licencekey in the root folder still with no luck!

HELP!

Thanks

TS3 is still in beta. Could be the cause of the problem.

Hi Tom,

Possible firewall conflict? I think that may be it as the window remains open and states it has started logging (and has already given you the login credentials the web interface). Are you trying to access it externally? Or via localhost?

There is no server install, once that MS-DOS window appears, that is the sign that your server is running, default port to connect via the Client is 9987.

There is no web-interface as of TeamSpeak 3 other than 3rd Party solutions provided by other Voice Server Providers.

Everything is now done via ServerQuery with Telnet/Putty along with everything else being able to be performed now internally via the Client.

You need to of written down the token key provided on the first startup of your TS3 Server and then connect to the server via your IP and port 9987, then go to 'Permissions' then 'Use Token' and put in the token key given to you, and it will assign you Server Admin rights to the server to allow you to perform the neccessary administration actions.

Hope that helps.

Look in the docs folder inside the TS3 server install, and read the ts3_serverquery_manual.pdf.

http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=47195 - That thread shows how to add a server, remove a server and change the max clients for a server.
