Hi all,
I am aware the new version of Team Speak is now out there.
Just wondering is there a market out there for selling team speak servers?
Thanks

Absolutely. While we haven't begun offering TS3 to our clients yet (insane coding overhaul for our CP, admin area, helpdesk, etc) we currently service thousands of TS2 customers per month.
I'd highly recommend applying for an app.

Definitely a market out there -- especially within the online gaming community.
Try to get licensing for Ventrilo and Teamspeak.
BTW, TS3 is pretty awesome. Sound quality is way better than TS2.

After hours of comparing and testing I can actually say TS3 has the best voice quality compared to TS2 and Ventrilo. What we're finding is the Ventrilo crowd is just set in there way (rightfully so, the software works great) so it's tough to convert them.
We moved our hobby gaming group of 100+ users over to TS3 2 weeks ago. We're now back to using Ventrilo until TS3 comes out of beta. Some issues were happening to all users that were just plain annoying.
All in due time!

There is most definitely a market for TS2 and TS3 we have been hosting TS2 for about two years and TS3 since it was first launched a few months ago and it has been booming. People seem to really like the TS3 features and has actually convinced many Ventrilo users to switch back to TS

aslong as online gaming exsists there will also be a market for teamspeak and their services.
you needed hours of comparing to notice teamspeak 3 being better?
strange. I noticed it since the very early beta days within seconds.
good job ts3 and ts2.

Absolutely. Almost every serious raiding guild in WoW uses something like TeamSpeak or Ventrilo to communicate and coordinate raids. I've also heard of FFXI linkshells and EVE corporations doing the same thing for their events. In fact, every online game where more than 5 people are trying to do something at once could probably benefit from using a voice server.
Of course, a lot of MMOs and online games are offering built in voice chat now... But TS/vent still seem to be much more powerful and useful.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!
The only thing that bugs me now is ive done some figures and tested ts to the max but think unless you have atleast 5000 slots in use its not worth your while?
I do love teamspeak and have used the old server for many years but is it going to be worth it?

Is TCADMIN still the only control panel that integrates with WHMCS that allows control of a TS server?

Timelord, I believe so. There are not many panels out there with those capabilities.

TS has been around for quite some time and still have a loyal following so yes there's a viable market for this product.

There is space in the VOIP market for more than a few players. TS3 is a strong product.
