WHCMS
Does anyone know how easy or hard it is to integrate WHCMS into an existing site? I am buying a new hosting comapny and plan to add WHCMS to it and incorporate all my existing clients into it as well.. Just don;t know how hard it will be... Any and all advice would be helpful!

If it's just to include it in a site's look, it's a matter of cutting an existing page into a top and bottom (header and footer), where you'd like the WHMCS content to appear and then tweaking a little her and there. Dead simple.
If it's more involved integration you're after (like disguising the fact you're using that script), that requires additional effort.Your one stop shop for decentralization

Are you talking about integrating it into your web design or integrating it with the clients they have?

So i take it you dont have WHMCS as it is but you plan on purchasing it and manually inserting clients in it.. Its not hard at all if thats what your after...
If you are looking for someone to integrate your WHMCS in the site then contact Payton Designs @ www.paytondesigns.com they charge around $25.00 and do excellent work good luck!Last edited by Dustin B Cisneros; 02-10-2010 at 10:10 PM.

Its fairly easy to edit both the header.tpl and footer.tpl files to get a similar look and feel to that of your site. Just make a copy of the default template folder /public_html/whmcs/template/default_template_name?(dont remember what it is) and then edit those two files so they fit your site. Once your happy switch the template setting in whmcs over to your new template.

You can remove the copyright when the clients view your whmcs but I would recommend changing it quite much if you decide to do that.

One more question... What is better to have a branded monthly leased license or to buy a license?. Also, I will have a main website but taking over a second company can I leave that second website up but have it connect to the same WHCMS for billing purposes? Let me know if I should be sending this to their sales department instead!

Well purchasing it makes it cheaper for you in a long term sight..Instead of paying monthly for it...
As for using WHMCS for two different sites for billing purposes i know a few people who do it and have no problems not sure if it's against WHMCS rules though but ive seen it multiple times. Also you can send it to their sales department if you wish.〓〓 RackNerd LLC - Introducing Infrastructure Stability

If pay for owned, you pay $45 annually which is much cheaper than paying $191.40 for 12 months or paying $155.40 annually at license pal. License Pal is much cheaper but the only difference is that you can not sell whmcs reseller licenses unless you have one active license purchased at whmcs.com

if u find it hard to customize WHMCS, you can buy customization service from WHMCS licensors, they will charge u abt $20, but will do it all as u want.

Well my main concern is I have two websites http://www.hivespeed.com (Well the domain on this will be changing shortly) and www.destinyhost.com . both have WHCMS integration. I want to be able to share the same database rather than getting two licenses as they are part of the same company but I don;t want to get rid of either website as both have their ups and downs... I am not sure how easy that is to do. They will be on the same server. Probably will setup destinyhost as a reseller.

Sadly from what i know this is impossible how ever you can redirect one site to order off the other site but then again im not sure if you want the buyer to know this... im guessing you once had 2 licenses since you have both designs integrated which im sure you kinda investigated it before doing so but now your moving back to 1 license which im afraid wont work with the same database (unless you dont mind the user knowing there being directed to your other site) Sheesh i almost confused my self hope you understand

WHMCS team offers official integration service for some fee (under 50USD as far as I know), so maybe it's a good idea to order integration from vendor
