Since a big portion of WHT is dedicated to trading/selling/buying, I believe Members should have feedback's or something to separate the scam artists from the actual people doing business.

Whos going to determine who correct or not? Its always hard to tell.

Just like how volunteer moderators manage the forums, they can get some extra volunteers working on this.

they just need to install an itrader mod like other forums do...you will never seperate the scammers they are always lurking, I have seen big itrader points on a user and they still scam..

Its a good item, but as mentioned above it wont stop the scammers

It wouldn't put an end to scamming, but it would enable viewers to find a reputable person for the service they are seeking. If you're scamming people at WHT and there's a trader feedback system, you'll be red, not green.

No doubt the WHT team have some issues with it

I don't feel such a system would work here.

As it is we receive a large number of reviews from new members which we are not always able to determine are real or fake, receiving iTrader ratings under the same circumstances will only make thing worse. I feel that very quickly the system will become competitive and then corrupted, members will break rules to anonymously raise their ratings, and not be held liable for doing so. WHT never put much of the spotlight on the marketplace, and while said marketplace is in existence, I don't believe it is active enough to warrant such a system.

I agree with Victor - in my opinion, it will put a huge toll with additional moderating needed for that kind of system.

The section that will no doubt benefit the most would be the Design, System Management and Other Offers sections. Although it's horrible when someone does get scammed, scammers are quick to get suspended / banned and I am sure you would agree that it is not a common occurance here especially when you take into consideration the size of the community.
