Hello friends,

Due to some legal and personal issues i and my partner have seperated in our business venture before we had a domain www.neophytech.com(my partner was the owner of this domain) which i was manitaining and had the password but now i have opened anew domain for me www.webdesigncut.com i made a redirect of www.neophytech to webdesigncut but i am getting threats from my partner that he might switch off the redirect and might hack my website or block my domain
since i am not all that experienced in all these so i want expert advice on this how can i save www.webdesigncut.com

A quick whois shows different registrars for the different domains. If your partner had the registrar login information for your domain, you should change it immediately.

He can cancel the redirect from his domain, and there's probably nothing you can do about it. I don't know what your hosting situation is, but unless he has control over the server that is hosting your site, I don't know how exactly he plans on hacking you or blocking your domain.

Well I don't know the personal issues, whether he is saying he owns the domain and wants it back.? But if you have registered that new domain yourself and he has no access then he cannot do anything to your website or domain. If he has access to the initial domain all he can do is remove the redirect, change password/access etc. As for hacking your site? well apart from being against the law its not as easy as it sounds believe me. Sounds as if the solution would be to give him back the domain you said that he owned and move on..!

ya exactly i too said him that to take back his domain i have no issues with that and we do business seperate and the old domain is registered under his name and for my new domain if he removes redirect nothing much will hamper apart from loosing a bit of traffic though all is pretty new and u rightly pointed we should move on
