Previously had a Logitech ex110 keyboard and a Razor diamondback 3G mouse (for when I actually had time to play games!) which I had to replace today (spilt some juice on them - oops!), so I bought the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 set ( http://img.hexus.net/v2/news/microso...board-3000.jpg & http://skattertech.com/media/2009/12...5000-front.jpg). I'd bought it for my parents previously so I knew it was a good set - the bluetrack mouse is pretty amazing and the keyboard has some great shortcut buttons.
As most people on here probably use them for hours at a time, I think having a keyboard and mouse you are comfortable with is very important. So, what keyboard and mouse is everyone using, and why?

Keyboards don't matter to me... I have a dell something or other... and a compaq... I do like big, cheap keyboards....
Mice... well, I purchased one of those Microsoft sidewinder x5... what a waste of money. Well, I only spend $20 for it... had I spent retail, I'd be upset.
At the time of the microsoft purchase, I thought my mx 518 had died (logitech). It is working now so I'm using it.
The new mouse is a backup... headed to the closet.
Mouse is the most imporant item.... mx 518 is the perfect mouse for me.... and I don't game... but it is comfortable in my hands.
I don't deal with the wireless keyboards/mice yet... on my main computer. On my media center I have a rosewell set that is shared with a server sitting behind the media center. I like that setup since I can remove the wireless usb connection and plug it into any computer and start typing.
I'm surprised at how long the batteries last in those things.... pretty amazing.

Cheap, wired UltraX Logitech Media keyboard. I've tried tons, and liked this one enough I got a few backups. Same for the mouse (backups) with the LogitechMX500 wired. Works perfectly, no complaints.

I have a standard dell, wired keyboard, works great.
I have a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, and I love it.

For me, I try to avoid using Mouse whenever possible (I use keyboard more often).
I might do like 10 to 15 mouse clicks only per day
What keyboard I use? Well any big logitech keyboard with soundless buttons works fine for me (I don't like hearing the ticks, as I type pretty fast).

Logitech g15 and g9x. I have only used this line for many years and have loved every minute of it. But, I also game a lot. The illuminated keyboard is amazing for those late nights gaming as well. And the mouse with its quick change mouse speed is pure awesomeness for sniping in CoD!

I am using a logitech MX Revolution mouse. I bought it mainly, because it was a wireless mouse with docking station. Been using it for around 2,5 years and it stills work perfect. Even if you dont recharge it the proper way the lifetime (between each recharge) is still very good.
