Verizon Wireless Cuts Some Plan Pricing

It looks like Verizon Wireless has cut the pricing of their unlimited voice plan (from $100 to $70 monthly?) to be competitive with other companies. Does anyone know if their plan pricing cut included limited talk plans, too?

I wish they'd lower the family plans.

I've whined before that if AT&T worked out in this teeny-tiny county, I could ditch two smartphones and a regular voice cell, all with the minimum "In" texting package... for three iPhones and I'd save about $30.

But we can't flex our consumer muscles because AT&T's data service is garbage out here.

It looks like all of their pricing levels have been reduced. But for anyone already using the plan that has a lower price now, I think you have to renew with another contract to get the new lower pricing.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up!

Am I correct in understanding that limited-airtime plans have had price cuts, as well?

I would try to check myself, but I'm not as familiar with Verizon pricing. My parents use Verizon, though, so perhaps a potential savings to them could result...
