OK, who is familiar with KH?
I believe I have decided on one of their packages of VPS but cannot get a hold of the sales dept. Is this common?
I had some questions for them before I made my purchase but so far have had no luck getting someone to answer the phone during business hours or return emails/calls.
I read a lot of great reviews about them here and elsewhere and they offer a good package.
Anyone here from KH?

If you can't get a hold of them via phone or email then you may want to look at another provider. Beyond that, I don't really have any other advice to give.

I saw the ticket and I personally responded to it when I was online. The time log shows a 4 minute response time, I am not sure why you didn't receive the message. Check your spam/bulk folder if possible or visit the URL for your ticket.

Good think you told me you sent a PM or I wouldn't have noticed  I rarely go to the WHT front page so I don't notice them unless I go into the control panel to look at subscribed threads lol.

There's a setting everytime you login it lets you know if you got a PM :p

Haha - I am familiar with vBulletin I just haven't taken the time to mess with the settings much beyond how they are by default

You can also set it so you receive an email with each PM.
As a host with some presence on WHT, it's a good thing to follow your PMs. Customers who for some reason can't reach you via your site, may try to use WHT as an alternative.

Their Sales Department is not operated 24/7 so technically their are delays in Sales but their support is superb!

Strange of that to happen with KnownHost, We have had no issues at all with e-mails and contacts with the company. How long ago did you post your ticket to Sales?

They have done great packages, I snagged an offer for life and it makes you never want to leave. Strangely enough their service is excellent in regards to other services I have personally tried in the past.

All good, Can vouch that they are a serious company but the delays might be a tad bit of a problem. Do not give up on them I am sure they will respond accordingly.

I wouldnt reccomend going with a host that hasnt replied to your calls or emails. Bad support if you ask me and if something goes wrong withy our account and you need to contact them (n)

It already does but I get thousands of emails per day so it can get lost in the sort  It's always best to contact the sales or support departments directly as apposed to PMing me here on the forum if you want a fast response  I will certainly respond I just can't guarantee a timeframe for a private message on a third party forum.

Realistically as a provider your clients shouldn't ever not be able to reach you via normal channels such as email/phone/website but you are right about watching for PMs as a provider on WHT which is why I've enabled the pop-up notice
Now I have it set to pop up and let me know which should resolve any potential delays.

First, thanks for your interest in KnownHost. I believe you ended up speaking to Joel on the phone and things were taken care of. It seems your mail server didn't receive our sales replies but that has since been taken care of? If not just let me know. Have a nice evening.

Very good advise. If you can't get ahold of a provider for a simple sales question, imagine how frustrated you will be when you have a problem with your service and cannot get ahold of them. I'd look elsewhere for service
