Hello,

First time posting, and this is what I need.

In our company we have a server which is accessed remotely via gotomypc to make invoices using an old ERP/Sales Software. This software runs in windows 2000 with Novell, and lately we are having a lot of issues with the server since it is very old. We are currently looking for a VPS Windows hosting solution to port our software and databases in which we could access it via Remote Terminal or any other Remote Access solution.

Do you have any specs for VPS to accommodate your software? What is your budget for this? Is your application portable on Windows 2003/Windows 2008 - since these are standard OS options available with most hosts at the moment.

I'd recommend looking at a Hyper-V solution for the high uptime, stability and application compatibility.

Windows 2000 is supported by Hyper-v too:

I think you need to post your old ERP/Sales software required server/os specs so that we can suggest you to the right provider.

Since you said it's "old", just to make sure it will run smoothly under the newer OS installed on the available VPS today.

Yea, it would be very helpful for you to let us know if the application you plan on hosting can run on Windows 2003/2008, and I would also suggest a host that uses Microsoft's Hyper-V solutions. I personally think it's better than say Virtuozzo.
