Seems it could be because of weekend+new year celebrations. Any way hope you will get some update regarding this soon.

Maybe the VPS is made manually using Virtuozzo...

Contact them directly, there is no way any one here can help you with the situation, unless the company has reps on here.

You should also check your junk email folders just in case. We get a client once in a while that complains about not getting his confirmation emails because the emails end up in the junk or bulk folders. Doesn't happen as often as it used to but it still happens.

I've been with TeamVPS before. They usually set up within 12 hours, and they use HyperVM with openVZ I think, so don't think it is to do with Virtuozzo...

But, maybe it's just because its the new year... I was thinking about taking another VPS for testing purposes with them, but if they haven't been setting them up quickly, then I might have second thoughts for now.... Might go with a more expensive but quicker VPS host...

I don't understand how people can use New Year celebrations as an excuse, if a company is going to be impacted by festive occasions such as New Year then they should communicate the impact this will have on their customers (and potential customers).

Hmmm, Well I myself am thinking of trying the VPS100 plan from www.delimiter.us.

Don't know how good it will be, cant find that many reviews about them... but supposidly from what one person has said, since a company bough them, they've become much better. Plus, they give DirectAdmin for free to you, I'm just worried about the price, are they overselling the RAM and diskspace?

With that prices + DA, it must be hard to survive without overselling. But I can't say anything cuz i haven't used their service.
