I'm pleased to write a review on SteadCom (
http://www.steadcom.com). I don't often review service providers on here but in this instance I feel that I should make an exception.
I have had several dedicated servers with them over the past 18 months.
Service - The service being provided is second to none. The network is stable and the hardware in the servers is really top notch. One of my servers has an uptime of 500+ days!
Sales/Management - Anytime I've had a query regarding purchasing new servers etc they have been very helpful and treated me like a VIP! You get the feeling that they actually want to help you rather than just taking your money. Not something you find often in companies these days.
Support - This is where SteadCom really shines. I must tell you that over the past five years I've used more dedicated server companies than I care to remember. I've used the big named ones and some smaller, less known ones. So in terms of support, I like to think that I know what I'm talking about. SteadCom not only respond to tickets very quickly (often within a few minutes) but take action just as quickly. As a result you'll never be stuck with a problem for very long. I recall an incident in which I was having difficulty with the remote reboot port on a particular server and the associated software. Not only was the issue resolved but one of their techs (Andrew) decided to start researching the software seemingly of his own free will and started sending me PDFs and teaching me how it worked. Absolutely incredible. I haven't (and most likely won't) experience this level of support elsewhere.
In conclusion, SteadCom really have something special going here. I've only had the pleasure of using their dedicated servers but if this is anything to go by I'm sure their other services (VPS servers and web development) are also of a high standard.
