Well here in the Philippines the haircut for men is much cheaper compare to women. If I'm not mistaken the haircut price for women range from 120-150 php (our local currency) and with men haircuts its only 70-100 php

The place I go to within my Chicago neighborhood (its actually 1 block down from me) cost $8 USD and I normally give the barber a $2 tip. Therefore, in total I spend $10 on a haircut. A woman haircut is double the price.

My barber, here at New Delhi, charge Rs. 15 for haircut, my wife goes to parlour and pay Rs. 150 for a simple cut, that's USD 0.32 and USD 3.21 respectively as per today's exchange rates.
Though it varies a lot, for men an average saloon charges start from Rs. 50 and goes up to Rs. 150 and for women it's between Rs. 150 to Rs. 500. And then there are those which charges a lot higher.
Best is in my village, every day early in the morning barber visits our home and give us all a nice shave or haircut, gives us a great head massage, cut nails, cleans ear wax , no money is paid per shave or haircut or massage. Similarly there are several others doing different duties in return their and their family's needs are taken care of by our family.

Wow, that sounds cool. What a nice way to start your day. I'd hate to think what that would cost in US or Canada.

Yes village life is very relaxed and cool, I miss it a lot and due to work and business, visit there just for a day or two in a year.

I have generally found that women's haircuts tend to cost about twice what men's haircuts cost, sometimes more.

It costs me $20 every time I go to the barber. Although I think it's like $15 but I always pay with a $20.

My kids is usually $10-15 and my ex used to pay about $20 when he went. When I go get my hair cut it is so long they usually charge $30-$40 depending on where I go. There are only 2 people that I let cut my hair.. I am very picky about it.
