We are the #1 rank at google / bing for our industry but I have an issue that just came up.
We buy a lot of other companies and some times we point their domain name to our site if things are just too out of hand with the old site.
This has been fine in the past, no problems at all but 2 weeks ago I pointed a domain name that we have had for years to our site and our #1 spot now became that domain name instead of our regular company.
Normal / old rank #1 | paidforumposting.com
Old domain pointed to normal domain / new rank #1 | forumadvantage.com
Here is the search string:

We recently bought Kickstart which is 4th ranked, evidently I do not want to point that to our #1 brand because it looks like google is noticing that multiple domains contain the same content.
My question is, can you force a particular name to be the primary domain with google?
We are still #1 and #2 on bing:

I want to make sure that does not go away.
