CPanel & Frontpage FormMail problem

I've installed Frontpage (Mail) Extensions to this client's domain.com and he's using the Form Mail (webbot) component on his site.

The problem is that if he uses any email address outside his domain (e.g. user@yahoo.com, etc) as the recipient address, the Form Mail wouldn't send anything to this address. But if he uses email address within his domain name (user@domain.com), it works well.

I've tried to search the CPanel knowledge base and on this forum about this problem, but so far I've found nothing useful.

So could you please let me know what am I doing wrong and how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

I'll try to email support@cpanel.net now.
I've tried to post it on their forum with no luck. I guess they don't care about the forum at all

I'm running the latest WHM 5.3.0 and CPanel 5.3.0-R29 on Redhat 7.3.

oc3, you're right about the CPanel forum. That's why I'm seeking help here

Hello,

OK, update to CPanel Stable 3. I suggest keeping to the stable releases of CPanel.

As a work around until you find a solution to the problem just have the form send the mail to an email address like form@hisdomain.com and then set an autoforwarder on form@hisdomain.com to forward it to whatever email he wants it to go.

It ain't pretty but it should work.

This client's previously hosted on VO and the FormMail worked there (can send to remote offsite address). I know VO's using CPanel 5.3.0 as well so I believe there's a patch to make it work.

Any other idea please?

Hello,

Check your CPanel update settings in WHM and make sure its only STABLE releases. Then update CPanel.
