I've been at walmart since 7:30pm waiting to get my laptop, first in line baby!

I came in to work. Traffic was extremely light, which was nice. Picked up a few things online for the in store price online.

I think it is a mistake for people to battle it out in the stores. The better discounts are online where the companies can keep the costs down because of less overhead. Plus, you get to avoid things like the traffic, finding a parking space. Heck, these days you have to worry about being trampled. All this is so unnecessary know with online shopping. Don't know why everyone is not doing it.

Everyone DID do it, but retail stores have to stay in business.
If they said no Black Friday sales in stores, only online, every large retail store would crash.
