And so far I am not impressed at all. I was a client of theirs back in 2005 or 2006, but switched to a colo because it worked out to be cheaper with better hardware. Long story short, I decided to switch back.
Last Friday in the early afternoon (I'm talking 1pm or so) and promptly paid and faxed the required documentation to them within 30 minutes. I then sent them an email (to support, my mistake) asking them about the account manager and when I could expect it to be up). On Sunday I received a response saying that they would send me message to sales. I have yet to hear anything else. I sent sales another email last night, and surprise surprise, I haven't heard anything yet.
Is this typical of iWeb these days? When I was with them before I thought they were great. I recommended them to people. I didn't leave them because of their service, but because I found a local colo that offered more for less.
Am I being too impatient? 6 days seems a tiny bit excessive to get a server up and running. I realize 2 of those days were weekends, but still.
Well, since it was the weekend (2 days) figure it took them 4 days. I think 4 days is more then enough time to have a server up and running. Did they say anything to you about having to order parts or keys? I can see if they are out of a certain harddrive it could take a few to get their, but if that was the case you should have been informed of the situation.
Since you were a customer of theirs before and you never had an issue I would say they are simply having communication issues. Maybe give it another day and see what happens. Best of luck!

Just to follow up, iWeb-Foo was very quick to assist me, and shortly after I received a phone call saying that it would be set up soon.
I hope nothing in my post came across as being any kind of negative review. I was more curious if this was outside of the norm. I still stand behind iWeb and their support. They had always been good to me in the past, and looks like they still are. I understand slight mistakes happen.
And thank you FBC, looking forward to getting my login information
JUST received my login info. That was a pretty quick turnaround from this morning. Great service!
I'm glad to hear that!
After looking through your ticket history, I found that a misconfiguration caused your request to be sent to Patrick whom is not your account manager anymore. We've taken the necessary measures to prevent this from re-ocurring as this is quite unusual and caused delays for which we are very sorry about.
