This is an awesome new product that you might not know about. Just read the reviews on it, amazing! I can't wait for the Sham-Wow guy to do an infomercial on this one!!

Seriously, just read those reviews, I'm ordering one for each car!

Well my one car doesn't have a cup holder, so this will give me someplace to sit my beer when I'm paying for my Big Mac in the drive-thru!

It is the absolutely perfect location to crush your rib cage and heart if (or rather when) you get in an accident. Just the type of injury to let you live long enough to wonder, was this really worth it.

But wait! If I act now I get the additional power extension cord to wrap around my neck. SOLD!

Not as good as the 3 Wolf Moon t-shirt but still funny.

EDIT: In all seriousness, that looks like something I could actually use though. I have a class every Saturday morning and I just go to school right from work so I usually have about an hour before somebody gets there to unlock the doors so this would be perfect for my netbook at that time since they leave the wireless on and Hulu rocks!

It's only a waste of time for people who don't have a use for them.

hmm....well I have a small laptop with a 10x6 screen built into the centre of my dashboard console (only the screen is visible) which is fully voice recognition automated (bluetooth) but has a mini keyboard in the centre of the steering wheel (blackberry sized) too (if I need to stop in the lay by), so no need for a lunch tray.

I just say : fetch mail....and it automatically opens the mail program which I can either read from the screen or the laptop speaks them to me.

I don't like clutter but that's my honest opinion.

    lol yeah

I can quickly fix multiple shots of tequila for myself and the friends as we drive from one bar to the next.
This has been a total lifesaver. It allows me to prop my sheet music against the wheel, allowing me to play the guitar with both hands while driving.
I don't want to be near any of those people...

    This made me laugh:
Our independent product testing organization is happy to report our product testing results for the Laptop Steering Wheel Desk. Based on testing with 100 test subjects, our results showed that 25 test subjects survived the test and of those 25, 10 percent are expected to make a nearly full recovery as measured in cognitive ability and motor skills (no pun intended). An additional 80 percent are expected to make at least a partial cognitive and motor skills recovery. The remaining 10 percent will remain immobile and brain dead and are thus unable to report on their quality of life (post-test). Our results do not include data for peripheral test events, such as additional automobile damage, non-testing driver damage and death, passenger injury and death, pedestrian damage and death, puppy dog on a walk damage (no deaths), bus stop shelter damage, storefront glass damage, signage bendage or breakage, or tree damage. We deliberately excluded these data as those users were not directly using the tested product, and thus the data are not valid. However, the puppy dog (Bagley the Beagle) did use the test product once it crashed through the bus stop shelter glass and landed on the grass near the sidewalk next to the tester's body and laptop.

We expect to commence Phase II of our testing with crash test dummies and expect even better performance and survival rates. )
    ::EDIT::
Wait, this one is the best:
I can't believe people are so oblivious to the hazards of using one of these! I was playing Need for Speed: Shift on my laptop when I hit a pothole with my Toyota Yaris. This made me hit the wrong key and I totalled my Aston Martin DB9. Don't drive while playing games, people! It'll really screw up your game.

Needless to say, I was so pissed I ran the Yaris into a tree. The airbag slammed the desk right into my chest and now I've got the laptop battery stuck between my ribs. I am so mad, I had to fire off this review before I let the paramedics pry me out of the car.

Haha wow some folks sure have a lack of a sense of humor or fun

The product is real, I can see many real uses for it, for example, when I'm at the race track or wherever, and want to eat a bit, throw this on my truck's steering wheel and eat. While a university student is between classes, throw the laptop on this while you get ready for your next class, etc etc.

Using it WHILE driving is implied to be "a bad idea" simple common sense dictates you don't do that, but the funny is how people are having a joke by posting reviews that are funny and sarcastic.

Remind me not to invite some of you people to a comedy club, I can see it now "there's no way that man's mother is THAT fat".

why waste money buying one off amazon?

no doubt your mother will have an old dinner tray somewhere.

2 minutes with a saw, use a bit of imagination and voila....

Your mom serves dinner on a LSU Tigers tray?

I thought most people used those to De-seed marijuana.
