    need help pick out a go dedicated server

    hi
    i'm a hosting reseller looking to upgrade to a dedicated server. but i don't know what specs to start with like 1gb ram, 250gb harddrive etc...i have 29 client's all of my client have unlimited resellers & master reseller's account.and i plan on getting more clients. i just need help with choosing a server at affordable price that can hold me and my clients.

    I would recommend going with a core i5,core i7,core2quad, and atleast 2GB of ram and 250GB harddrive is a good size.

    Do you have a budget in mind? or require an control panel?

    Dual Xeon's are also recommended.

    With that budget in mind you should be able to find a very powerful server...

    You can easily get a top spec for what you need at that price.

    If you are planning to expand, then you probably want to jump on a Xeon with a nice amount of RAM

    For that money have you considered having two servers? It would be more sensible like that because you'll only affect 50% of your user base when you have to do critical maintenance or if you have problems.

    What sort of traffic are you pushing on these sites? Whats the resource load like?

    I should have posted those plans can be customized to for upgraded bandwidth and plesk licenses for pretty cheap.
