This is something that I never thought of. And yeah both windows and chrome does share the same color scheme.
I always thought the Chrome logo reminded me of Simon Says lol

I really wonder why Google chosen the same four colors for Chrome Logo as Windows!
Also, Google Chrome OS is coming which will be having the same colors.
What does Google actually want to say?

That's pretty old
Nice one. Its true, we can't even do anything without Google.. lol
Google Chrome OS has a long way to go, lol. I agree a browser-like OS is the future, but this doesn't even come close to competing with Windows, OSX or any other Linux distro.
Should be fine for netbooks, though. Not sure if it has a video player built in though.

I think for the near-short term it will be a very niche product.

Heh... I never actually noticed that. Good mental note though, if you're ever designing a company logo, maybe those 4 colors are keys to success? xP
That's very old! I've seen it like million times every here and there on the Internet. At the same time all this Chrome OS fuss is getting really annoying. I have to agree with one of the guys from here that Chrome is gonna remain a niche product for some time to come. You can't use any programs that require serious resources on Chrome OS. For God's sake, I'll never change Excel for Google Docs or Photoshop for Flickr!
