    Please help >>> Device: /dev/sda, 1 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors

    Hello everyone

    i`m sending this post for 2nd time , please let me know if you know any command to solve the problem ,

    and please don`t ask me to change the HDD , i can`t do that

    After each reboot i have to ask datacenter to defrag my server , otherwise the server will not boot , as i know there is a way to solve the problem

    You've got a ticking time bomb. The drive needs to be replaced. I know it's not what you want to hear

    What do you mean by "defrag my server"? There's a way to exclude disk sectors from being read/written to but it's not worth going this route if several bad sectors start showing up. The latter means a faulty HD.

    Ignoring a warning like this will lead to tears. The last three times I'd seen something like this, the drive was dead inside a week. I'd suggest you may find one of these times it simply won't recover and then your data is toast.
    Back up right away, and get that drive swapped right after.
    Or not.
