    Quality VPS for forum

I posted previously about hosting for a forum and it seems perhaps it would be easiest to try VPS.

My budget would be 20-30$/ month

Do you have any good companies to recomend? The important thing is that it runs properly and is something you can have for a while even when it starts to get big.

Is this a forum already in the works or something you are planning?

What software will you be running?

    How many members/concurrent connections?

How many users do you plan on having with the forum. Just so we know what you really need in a VPS.

I assume you're looking at a cPanel VPS, with at least 512mb of ram. Depending on your storage and bandwidth requirements your prices will vary. Make sure you have the ability to upgrade easily and with no downtime if you want to stay on a VPS for as long as possible.

Your budget is OK for a stable VPS, do you require an control panel? like cpanel or plesk? if not this may help keep cost down.

If they are just running a single forum I wouldn't see any need for cpanel.

You need to publish more details as to your needs (managed? location? CP? resources? current users/hits/etc...).
