We work with HyperVM for a long time. It's a great control panel. Cheap license, stable, great resource distribution.

You may also look into Virtuozzo, but it's a bit more expensive.

I would recommend Virtuozzo for a complete product (http://www.parallels.com/uk/products/virtuozzo/)

I would recommend either downloading trials if available or signing up with a host that provides the panels you're interested in. Use them from the admin and user perspective to get a feel before you make up your mind. Investment well worth it before you start trying to put customers on it and supporting it.

We recommend vePortal as well...OpenVZ based currently...we use it on a ton of node and are quite happy with it. It is very actively developed, with new features coming on weekly it seems. Very inexpensive as well. http://www.veportal.com

You cannot go wrong with SolusVM, reliable and secured we are using them and nothing but positive experience. Support is second to none! which i think is the most important.

Sadly, while I've used Virtuozzo for several years, I can not recommend it due to all the issues I've had with that platform and why my company ultimately decided to move away from it and to Vmware. However for my person experiences, VEportal is decent as is Solusvm.

Yeah as long as they avoid hosting their server in Scranton so they won't look like a reseller of someone
