They're both pretty nice websites. I don't see the similarities though.

If I had to guess I'd say mainstreamnetworks.net ripped jixhost.com, because mainstreamnetworks.net's logo just looks pasted in, and like it doesn't fit.
Be careful rushing to conclusions, though -- they may both just be using elements of a free template or something.Ask me about CloudCentrum (coming soon) -- The complete, turn-key cloud software solution0

Yeah, that's very unfortunate. Best of luck.

I think it's pretty obvious mainstreamnetworks.net ripped jixhost. What kind of logo is that anyway? It's horrid.

Plainly mainstreamnetworks.net is worse coded and from that perspective it looks as plagiary as well. Good luck with sorting this out JixHost.

We modified ours to fit our needs.
Also jix has stolen a website not to long ago.

The images and dropdown are unique to us and are not sold by anyone. Our previous owner did the same thing what mainstream did but we had a completely different website. It still does not make it right to steal others work.

i don't think it really matters. i'd be flattered personally. But i guess i feel like everything copies off something else for the most part. There's not really anything that's completely original. Unless they were trying to impersonate your business and do harmful things, i don't think there's much to worry about.
I don't know much about webhosting as a business, but i am guessing that most potential clients would be more concerned with the service level and reputation of the business rather than their web design.0

I highly doubt it was the previous owner that did it. I think you did it. Jixhost has always been owned by Jose Nobio.

It looks like the two members are more fully engaged in this discussion in this thread: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=905443
