That's exciting. Did you get "Among Thieves"? That game looks awesome.

    I'm a PS3 owner, and while I definitely think it's a superior console, XBL>PSN - I whine about it all the time.

Sony's losing money on PSN downloads, so one of their plans was to charge the developers for downloads of their demos, movies and content. If that happens, expect to see demos (and DLC from smaller outfits) dry up. MSFT, as far as I know, has no such problems.

There's still plenty of other annoyances, things like XBL having FFA-voice chats during games, Twitter, Facebook, and Netflix... PS3's "Netflix" is nothing but a streaming-enabled bluray disc.

On the whole I love mine, but I guess the grass is just a little greener...

I own both PS3 slim and Xbox360. While I do agree that PS3 is better hardware wise and therefore better grahpics and less frame rate chokes, there aren't enough RPG on PS3 !

    I can't believe Xbox360 has more RPG than PS3.

I just bought a xbox 360 with two cordless controllers, 20gb HDD, head set, and Halo 3 and UFC09 Undisputed.

How much could I sell all that for?

Probably <= 20% of what you bought it for

Consumer electronics depreciate sooo much as soon as they come off the shelf.

My boys are getting a PS3 for Christmas this year. They love games like Halo and Call of Duty on the Xbox 360. Any ideas for what games to get for the PS3?

You can get Call of Duty, but I really like Need for Speed: Undercover. That is a racing game

Off the PSN, if you like tower defense games, "PixelJunk Monster" is awesome. I played that for days and days. I think it's like $5 for both esp 1 & 2.

    Do they play splitscreen together?

Borderlands (check the rating ) offers amazing co-op play.

Congrats! I love my PS3, check out Uncharted. 1 and 2 are great games, also MGS4.

A must have is Little Big Planet, even as a grown man, I can't help but love everything about this game. It's very reminiscent of Mario, and the fact you can play other peoples levels and build your own make this game kind of endless.

Little Big Planet is the only game my 9 year old asked for. He played it at a friends house. It is the only one I have bought so far.

Agreed! The level "boom town" had three of us up until about 5am cackling with laughter. It's not a terribly good platformer once you get past how imaginative it is, so if you don't have someone else to play with it only goes so far... but man if you have some friends to join you, it's genius.
