    That is way too much.

They haven't setup the currency converter (prices in GBP look right).

You have to click on Choose Currency and need to Choose Currency GBP which shows correct figures

If they are landing clients with those prices, I'd like to know where they advertise! But ya, it seems like they probably were testing something on the site and didn't want anybody to order anything so they set prices really high.

That's my take on it, I'm sure anybody's guess is as good as mine.

Seeing they don't offer KVM servers on their web site I'm assuming that is just a test product that isn't supposed to be viewable publicly.

The prices are set like that so people DON"T order them. Our policy isquite simply for reason of costs bases that if you want a UK basde server you need to pay in GBP, If you want a US based server you pay in USD. Due to a "feature" in WHMCS its not possible to disable aproduct in one currency and have it enabled in another. As such the "fix" is to set ludicrous payment amounts. If you select GBP from the drop down list the prices will go correct

IF you do select -1 (which within WHMCS disables the billing period) it will helpfully raise an invoice for -$1.00+tax. WHMCS refuse to fix this issue

Hilarious! WHMCS can sure be quirky at times. But that's a pretty quirky solution, too.

I had the following answer to this issue:

Are you sure you have chosen the correct currency (USD)? If yes, the prices should be correct (not discounted one). Discount, though, will be applied once the coupon during the sign up process, is entered.

We have a similar problem with WHMCS due to having VPS plans in multiple locations (USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia).

We partly solved the issue by having a WHMCS for each region / currency.

WHMCS doesn't allow a client to buy in more than one currency so it creates a problem when a client buys a Canadian VPS and European one. Unfortunately in this case we have to create 2 x separate logins in different WHMCS or charge the client in a single currency.

We did consider a two WHMCS setup but the sheer overhead of handeling two billing systems and finding out who would login to which system etc we just decided not to

WHMCS offers things Ubersmith doesn't such as plugins for VPS Environments etc
