Need to delete DirectAdmin account with over 100GB of data
I think it's going to time out if I delete it through the control panel.
What's the best way to do this?
I am thinking remove the user folder in SSH and then delete the account using the control panel, would this work and is this recommended?
are those 100gb files in /home/user/domains/public_html?
you can do "rm -fr /home/user/domains" in ssh
and then after it's done delete it through control panel.
i've done this so many times without any problem.
Yes, I am agree with meyu. you should gather all files in particular directory say 'home' and can run rm -fr home. Where -f option will delete files forcefully.
