Ever wanted to link to a certain time in a YouTube video?

    WHTers,

Ever sent a friend a video and added "Check out 0:49 in it for the funny part!"?

My Google homepage today linked to a cool Wiki article: How to Link to a Certain Time in a YouTube Video

    Here is an excerpt:

    # Go to the video you are linking to and pause it at the point you want it to start when you link to it. Hover the cursor over the round time marker on the red bar at the bottom of the video. The time should appear above it.
    # Add #t=[number minutes]m[number seconds]s to the end of the URL in the browser bar, ensuring it follows directly after the video code. If it says "&feature=related" or "&feature=popular" right after the code, just erase that.
    # Your URL should now look like this: youtube.com/watch?v=a1b2c3d4#t=1m15s (This example would link to 1 minute and 15 seconds.)
    # Copy and paste the URL so the people who click on it will start watching it right at that time!
Neat, eh? Who knew it was possible? You have to love Google.

Now, maybe The Dude will use this tip sometime.

Didn't realize this was not commonly done, I've been linking videos to certain points like that for a while, a buddy showed me in irc one day how it was done.

Is there a way to make the preview pic a certain frame? From what I've seen you only get three random choices?

I was always told that the preview pic is the exact midpoint frame of the movie.

I understood the location significance but not the title significance.

I suppose I am not a complete Trekkie.

We have two wii's. We love it. Personally there are a lot of games, but I think the creators might think its pointless to make a game for the wii. Why bother working to dumb down the graphics for not so many extra's sold. If people want to play it, they will already have an xbox or ps3 already. I know we have that too
