Help: Segmentation fault
Something just went wrong with my server today
login as: teddy
[[email protected] ~]$ sudo su -
[[email protected] ~]$ df
[[email protected] ~]$ crontab -l
My website seems to be showing me lots of PHP & SQL errors.
For example, my live-chat shows me:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp/sess_8aa74272d583973018e8f0805a796df2, O_RDWR) failed: Read-only file system (30) in /home/polar/domains/.../auth.php on line 20
What could be wrong?
I'm not sure about the segfault or the bus error, I believe the segfault is going to be attempting to access memory that its not supposed to. The bus error is usually a hardware related error.
The read-only file system error usually indicates that you need an fsck and/or your drive could be dying.
I recommend contacting your datacenter pronto!
Reboot the server once and then check the load of the server and let us know.
Try to reboot the server , then check the sites . If the issue still persist , please check the apache error logs.
Could also be a RAM issue. Try a reboot and see if that helps.
You probably have a failing drive which could be the reason for Read-only file system. Check your drives as soon as the server is online after fsck.
