i have a urgent ticket waiting to be answered for over 8 hours. any of you got support responses over the last 8 hours?
Well if you look at these forums alone you will see quite a few with the same problem you are experiencing. I simply do not understand Eirca and the dependence on a single person like Simon for the company to operate or the whole company goes down the tubes.
I hope other hosting companies have plans in place that do not rely on a "single" person or the ship sinks.
I would move on from Eirca as they seem to be having way too many problems with communications as of late. Host Department also seems to be on the downward spiral.
Look at Jodohost, Fluid Hosting, or Cartika for multi-platform clustered reseller hosting. I've been happy with Cartika for years. Search for each of these companies on this forum.
They hired a number of new staff a couple months ago because of this same problem, the second set of mass-hirings/firings this year (the first set was around late February). I can't say whether the September hirings have had any effect on ticket times, but I can say they are very conscious of the problem and at one time publicly committed themselves to improving on this problem.
I hope for their sake that this commitment is real, and one way or another, I hope your issue can get resolved!
