    * How to set up nameserver on different server?

    Server 1 (main domain resides here example.com)
    domain = example.com
    current nameserver = ns1.example.com
    current nameserver = ns2.example.com

    Wanted to use the same domain name to create a new nameserver on server 2.

    Server 2
    ns3.example.com
    ns4.example.com

    How do I do that?

    You'll just have to create the NS records at the registrar (ns3.domain.com and ns4.domain.com) with the IP's you've been assigned. Then set them up (assuming a cPanel box) as the primary/secondary nameservers in your WHM. If it's not a cPanel machine it's a tad different.

    You can leave server1's configs alone if it's working.

    On server2, just go to the cPanel/WHM setup and add the NS records of ns3.domain.com and ns4.domain.com - make sure the DNS zones are set-up as well and you should be fine. However, If you're trying to cluster them you'll need a different type of setup.

    login to your domain registrar panel and create more 2 child dns with ns3.example.com, ns4.example.com with server2's 2IP address
