    Time Tracking and Incident Software

I am wondering if anyone has found any decent time tracking and incident management software. Basically, I want something simple that I can just fill out, list what was checked, server management wise, as well as if there was a incident describe what happened.

    Hi Dan,

I've been looking for soemthing similar... we're using Kayako currently, they are suggesting there will be features like this in V4 but aren't saying much. Most other solutions that have full incident mangement with tracking seem to be several $1000 for licences or have weird per user costs.

http://www.zendesk.com/ looks quite good, shame its hosted and not a script though, and the prices are pretty high too...

Have you looked at freshbooks.com? Pretty neat software, universal to almost any industry and it does have the time tracking feature you're looking for.

Basically the company I work for now supplies some low level daily/weekly/monthly management. I say low level because right now it is just checking logs and such, but we do their network management.

Thanks for the suggestions, if someone has any others I will definitely take a look.

There is actually lots of these types of systems available but to be perfectly honest most are unlikely to be do all you need or are not bloatware.

You are much easier just spending a few hours building your own, It only took me about 4-5 hours to build ours and integrate it with kayako, I suggest you consider doing the same, much easier than having to learn a new system which doesn't even do everything you need.
