    * Could the Web Run Out of Addresses By 2010?

    Was reading this blog earlier, what do you think??

    We are not going to run out of IP addresses, everyone is just gonig to have to move to IPv6 and the problem will be solved.

    Exactly. Well said. As the article noted near the bottom:

    As we get closer and closer to the critical point, more and more businesses, organizations, and individuals will upgrade their equipment for the IPv6 protocol [which will resolve the issue].

    exactly.. and the reason why we haven't right now is equipment costs.. no company wants to fish out the extra $$ to replace their equipment yet...

    But sooner or later it will HAVE to happen....

    Yep, a lot like Y2k (though not quite as bad).

    Back then, companies just really had to spend the money to become "Y2K compliant", and most delayed until near the last minute!
